I’ve updated the gallery with all the picture of Aubrey at the Logo “NewNowNext” Awards last night at Avalon in Hollywood. She was both an attendee and a presenter alongside comedienne Kim Coles. What do we think of her dress? It’s certainly dramatic on the red carpet!

According to sources, Aubrey will be presenting at Logo’s NewNextNow Awards on April 11th. Other presenters include Adam Lambert and Perez Hilton. Speaking of Perez, next week’s episode of All About Aubrey is Aubrey vs. Perez!

8:19 CT – Britney Spears won “Best Female Video”, and looked amazing doing so.

OK SO BASICALLY MTV IS GIVING BRITNEY PITY AWARDS BECAUSE THEY WANT THE RATINGS..COME ON…PIECE OF ME WAS NOT HER BEST VIDEO, BUT DON’T GET ME WRONG, I DO LOVE BRITNEY. AND PCD, PFFTT DANCING ON CARS WERE CIRCA 2006. DANITY KANE GOT ROBBED!

Formerly known as the StarShine Readers’ Choice Awards, the 6th Annual now titled Music Choice Awards voting will take place on www.StarShineMag.com beginning September 1, 2008 and through October 6th. With the most nominations this year, Hanson and Elliott Yamin lead the way with 7 a piece. Following close behind with 6 each are Backstreet Boys and another American Idol star, Blake Lewis. Other nominees include Real World star Brianna Taylor, Jordin Sparks, Danity Kane, Jesse McCartney, Ryan Cabrera, Menudo, Jonas Brothers, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, and One Republic.

StarShine Magazine’s nominees were chosen by the staff based on not just success in the music industry, but also success in the magazine itself. “We don’t nominate artists StarShine hasn’t featured or interviewed,” says president, Sandy Lo. “Every artist nominated has appeared in StarShine Magazine in the past year and that’s an important rule to us. We don’t want to sellout just to draw in big names. It’s not fair to the smaller artists we enjoy promoting; artists other magazines may ignore to sell more copies by featuring only paparazzi-adored stars,” continued Sandy. “That’s not the kind of magazine StarShine is or ever will be.”

Past winners in StarShine Magazine have been Nick Lachey, Simple Plan, JoJo, Aaron Carter, Brian Littrell and the Backstreet Boys. This year, the Backstreet Boys will be honored by receiving the Shining Star Award, a lifetime achievement award in StarShine Magazine. In the past, the Shining Star Award had a different meaning. It was given to artists who were active humanitarians through charities. Throughout the seven years of StarShine’s existence, the Backstreet Boys have had an impact on its readers and staff. “It was only natural choosing the Backstreet Boys for the first recipients of this re-vamped award,” says Sandy Lo.

VOTE FOR DANITY KANE HERE!

The all-female pop group Danity Kane has canceled its show at this year’s Allegan County Fair, according to festival manager Terry Bonnell. The group was scheduled to perform Sept. 9, but pulled out of the event because they were invited to an awards ceremony on the West Coast that conflicted with the fair, Bonnell said. Ticket holders will be given a refund, Bonnell said. Hm…..could it be that they are heading to this years MTV Video Music Awards….California is in the “West Coast”, “Awards Ceremony” ….the only thing that seems out of place is the dates, VMA is on the 7th, while the article says its on the 9th. We will see.

Our girls have one nomination up for grabs at this years BET 2008 Awards, they are up against the likes of Day26, Gnarls Barkley, Playaz Circle, and UGK for BEST GROUP. Hopefully the girls will show up for the event and receive the award there if they win!
